GULF OF POETS BOAT TOUR

The “Gulf of Poets” refers to a stunning stretch of coastline around the area near the towns of La Spezia and Portovenere.
Notably, the Gulf of Poets became associated with famous writers like Lord Byron, Percy Bysshe Shelley, and Dante Alighieri, who found inspiration in the dramatic landscapes, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery. You can still sense the literary history of the place when visiting. The scenery of the Gulf is breathtaking: towering cliffs, charming medieval villages, and terraced hillsides full of vibrant flowers.

DEPARTURE

Departure is scheduled for 10 am from Porto Lotti.
The crew will welcome you on board with a fruit cabaret, focaccia and a bottle of Prosecco.
This full-day boat tour offers a unique opportunity to explore one of Italy’s most picturesque coastal regions, renowned for its crystal-clear waters, charming villages, and rich literary history.
The navigation starts towards Lerici, a charming town renowned for its medieval castle, colorful houses, and beautiful beaches. As you glide along the coast, you’ll have the chance to admire the impressive cliffs and the lush green hills surrounding the bay.

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

From Lerici, we’ll continue to the enchanting village of Tellaro, a hidden gem nestled on the cliffs. This small, peaceful village is surrounded by crystal-clear waters that are perfect for a refreshing swim. You’ll have the opportunity to take a dip in the turquoise sea, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Mediterranean. Whether you prefer relaxing on the boat or enjoying a swim, Tellaro’s stunning coastline offers something for everyone.

LUNCH WITH A VIEW

At lunchtime*, the crew will disembark you either at Portovenere or Isola di Palmaria, the choice is yours! In both places you will enjoy a lunch filled with typical dishes, fresh fish and a breath-taking view.

PORTOVENERE

You will have the chance to visit Portovenere: a fishermen village. Three among the most characteristic places you can visit are Torre di Portovenere, Castello di Porto Venere and Chiesa di San Pietro.

ISOLA DI PALMARIA

We’ll visit Palmaria, an island distinguished by its multi-colored beauty: one of the main destinations of the Riviera characterized by its luxuriant nature.

TINO AND TINETTO

We will then navigate the beating heart of the archipelago: Tino and Tinetto. You will enjoy a dip into crystalline waters. The crew will provide all snorkeling equipment.
